Swachh Bharat!!! Too Much Bharat!!! BJP's kodak moment lost!!!

Images, they say; speak a thousand words. If this were true, the following one speaks on an epic scale. The BJP has been left red-faced and embarrassed after this goof up.

Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay has found himself in a controversy after photographs emerged that garbage was littered on a sidewalk in posh Lodhi Road locality before he along with former AAP leader Shazia Ilmi cleaned it as part of a Swachh Bharat initiative.

The photographs showed that sanitation workers from civic agency brought garbage on trolley and littered the pavement outside the India Islamic Center allegedly sometime before Upadhyay, Ilmi and some others cleaned the site with brooms yesterday.

Cleanliness is next to Godliness - a mega ambitious project, initially conceptualized by Ex Prime Minister Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee under the aegis of Total Sanitation Programme has now been hijacked by Modi as Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. As long as the intent is noble, I am not critical of plagiarism. No sir!!! The discontent is against the party workers who are making a mockery of this ambitious thought.

This is not new to Indian polity. Greater intents and ideas have been made fun of. Mahatma Gandhi said," Treat your country as if it is your home". The current breed of Gandhis have taken this literally. Mahatma Gandhi also said,"The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong." The Congress Party has forgiven all the scamsters and showed their strength.

The Special Protection Group, employed to protect the Son of India had to spend a bomb to "sanitize" the hamlet, get Ministry approved food grains delivered to the home of the poor peasant, arrange for portable sanitation facility behind the hamlet, gallons of mineral water

All this for Baba to experience a simple meal with a simple Indian!!!

Coming back to the garbage at hand, to get billions of Indians to start cleaning up their immediate surroundings, the Modi Government has spent a huge amount in media campaigns, radio broadcasts, paraphernalia et al.
This also includes an order for a huge amount of faux garbage from foreign countries. The faux garbage is completely harmless, odorless, sanitized to the highest levels, impurity-free, has a long shelf life and resembles actual garbage. This garbage will be used to fuel the Premium Swachh Bharat Programme - a cleanliness drive by the more privileged Indians. The BJP has justified this measure,"The Premium Swachh Bharat Programme is meant for those Indians whose health matter more to the nation than its billions. They are the motors of our nation and cannot afford to fall ill. So, what is wrong in spending some money for these people to make more and more money?

Also, all these celebrity cleanliness drive has a more economic goal than what meets the eye. They are charged to clean up as a part of their promotion exercise".

Hey Ram!!!!!
