Sea Solitude

A path well trodden but with no footprints,
leaving behind no clues no hints,
every moment's history lasts only till the next moment,
when the fresh onslaught of wave is swept,
an expanse of waterscape that makes me so humble, so small,
when I look at the sea, there standing so tall,
every wave of froth fuming with fury into a dying crest
that breaks down the force, calmed by the time it reaches the shores,
as I stand there making my thoughts meet,
I find moving:the ground beneath my feet,
the rythmic swirling sounds that it makes, many a noise from me, it takes,
all troubles vanish into the salty air, everything feels so remote, so far, that I can hear myself thinking so aloud,
as the sands of time pass on, as the evening sets on,
the bright glow gives way to the orange halo,
as the sun too makes it its abode, the cool waters quenching its heat,
as the last of the rays recede into the horizon,
it seems to me that it takes into its folds, all and one;
as I walk back into the night with a clear mind, still amazed at this visual,
so much like an illusion yet so very real,
unabated, it continues along its paths to the shores,
providing recourse to another soul remorse,
sriky
