Is this Life??

a fisherman there yonder,

in the sea,beyond the further,

is braving the waves on his small boat,

is testing his strength against the oceanic fury;

the huge waves rising like phoenix,

is braved by his boat without a slightest protest,

seems that his courage is rubbed onto it,

he knows that he has to win,the torn sails are his fins,

every sound of wooden creak,the clash of wood and the water;

for an instance of time,smaller than time,

his heart is set aflutter;

but he cannot rear fear,there is a catch to be caught,

the struggle for food and survival that has to be fought,

the thought of his children,starving and craving

wipes away the still-to-be-formed tear with a wash of determination,

the steady rowing becomes a frantic race,

his muscles are trying to match upto his spirits'pace;

he will not let fear into his heart seep,there is a promise to keep,

the promise to live,the promise to succeed,the promiseto achieve;

Is this not life?,one would think,are we not in our ways this fisherman?

in the ocean of life,waves of hurdles crash upon us,

like him,one has to surmount the worries,we have a promise to keep,the promise made by us,

to ourselves,the promise to survive,the promise to succeed,

life is a journey,not a destination,

he who completes it is not a winner but he who livesthrough it is,

as a saying goes WHY WORRY ABOUT LIFE WHEN YOUKNOW THAT YOU WONT BE ABLE TO COME OUT OF IT ALIVE ANYWAY
