Tarar's Daraar - Shh Shhi Tharoor's Suroor!!!

We are in the age where we can see the linen getting dirty before it can even be washed. How live can live be than a scandal being created live and one that involves a politician!!! Twitterrati were in store for some spicy gupshup since morning when Minister Shashi Tharoor's wife Sunanda Pushkar posted this scandalous tweet. Supposedly, a lovey dovey sweet nothing exchanged between her husband and a Pakistani scribe Mehr Tarar. 

@mehrtarar I love you, Shashi Tharoor. And I go while in love with you, irrevocably, irreversibly, hamesha. Bleeding, but always your Mehr,

Shashi. I'm not crying any more. I'm not falling to pieces. I'm more lucid than ever. How little I knew you became visible to me.@mehrtarar

The high profile minister from Kerala, who has always been in the eye of the storm for his lavishes and his careless remarks in the past immediately swung into action. He issued a statement that "his twitter account has been hacked into and did not deny any Pakistani "link" therein".

Just when things were about to calm down, came out a shocker!!!

"Our accounts have not been hacked and I have been sending out these tweets. I cannot tolerate this. This is a Pakistani woman who is an ISI (Inter Services Intelligence) agent, and she is stalking my husband. And you know how men are. He is flattered by the attention. I took upon myself the crimes of this man during IPL (Indian Premier League). I will not allow this to be done to me. I just can't tolerate this. I have nothing more to say," she said, speaking on the phone.

The tirade of tweets continued with Mehr taking on Sunanda on a no-words-barred tweet fight. The media and followers were having a grand gala time. 

Now Shashi Tharoor is in deep trouble. He has already received a call from Madamji and has been reprimanded that this time his modern care-a-damn outlook will not be tolerated and he will be just sacked. He is in a dilemma. He needs to act and act fast before one of the two women make a mistake he will repent at leisure. He checks his twitter account, he is aghast!!! The word slinging duel has just grown!!!

Mehr had gone on a rampage.

So I 'stalk' on bbm and phone. The last I checked it was a two-way thing, or maybe technology changed while I 'stalked'? The blonde's aqal is weaker thn her grammar & spellings.From an 'affair' it has become 'stalking'..make up yr mind, darlin'.Which one is it?

Shashi immediately sets up a conference call with both the ladies. An hour is spent in pacifying Mehr and a couple of more for Sunanda. He does have his way when he speaks. Most of his words are just unfathomable to cattle class populace that one just surrenders with a nod. 

Shashi announces a press conference. Before that he issues a common tweet. 

are distressed by an "unseemly controversy" over some "unauthorised tweets" posted from their Twitter accounts and that both are "happily married and intend to remain that way"

At the press conference, he stuns everybody when he says this - "In the interest of national integration and maintenance of cordial relations with our neighbour, I have decided to make my relation with Mehr Tarar official via the nuptial route. I fully stand by this stance of mine and my wife Sunanda is very happy with this development in my life and will continue to be a part of my family. We are planning for a completely Traditional family concept.".

The press is shocked and so is the Congress. Before Congress reacts, the media questions him whether his dares will have any backing, support or sympathy!!! 

Slyly smiling he quips," I have Sanskriti on my side!!!". Babuji!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
