Austerity overDrive unplugged - high costs of staying simple!!!!!

The Austerity Drive is making so much noise, such buzz,

Madam has now issued a new diktat,

Khadi Klad Kronies- wake up to reality at last!!!

The chronicles thereon is such a farce,

Display of simplicity-there is, but simplicity is so sparse;

But it is a case of a joke having gone stale,

humour is lost in the way, the economics of this fiasco - a fail,

Rahul Baba boards, perhaps for the first time in life: a train,

is pelted with stones with gay abandon and refrain,

perhaps from those whose berths were vacated at the last moment,

for the Youth Congress leader to increase the party's Austerity Quotient?

Mr. Pawar found the economy seat a bit too cramped,

what with such signs of prosperity that he has ramped,

but when he did manage to travel like the cattle class,

he had to seek a luxurious massage at a spa high class;

Madamji, not to be left alone, did also embark upon such simplibhitions,

She flew economy class aboard the national carrier,

but the cost to fly her from Delhi to Mumbai,

instead of her private helicopter- just proved to be sky high!!!!

Poor Krishna and Tharoor!!!!

they paid the price of their ghuroor!!!!

Off were they herded, from their rooms, and like what!!!!

Even cattle in India are not herded like that!!!!!

the amounts in such drives,

pale into oblivion compared to the piles being raked in bribes,

legitimizing bribery could be a sound thought,

with a quotient on austere bribes doing the rounds???
