"Mumma, what is this party that I am hearing about? My friends told me that it is some swearing party. Even I want to go mumma... please". Sonia Gandhi's afternoon siesta was thus broken by a howling Rahul Baba.
"Hmph, don't worry beta, we are also having a swearing ceremony on Monday. You must behave yourself there. Wear that new suit Didi got for you from Venice. You need to look traditional. Many important people will be coming".
"Hurrah!!!! Mumma, just one thing, I will get a chance to make a speech naa?".
"Let's see beta. There are many people who have much to say. But I will give you a slot. Now go and prepare your speech with Diggy Uncle if he is not tRAIed up".
There is a lot to be done, mulls Sonia as she gets set to plan things out for the event scheduled for Monday. Party workers have already started putting up the temporary structure, food and beverages need to be checked on, flowers are yet to come in, some of the invitees are yet to confirm their presence. Ufff!!!!
She picks up the list of invitees and asks Ahmed to start ringing up the invitees. Ahmed efficiently goes about his task.
An hour later, Rahul comes back. Holy Ravioli!! curses Sonia as she patiently writes down the spelling of speach for Rahul on a piece of paper. When will he grow up!!! Sighs Sonia.
She then meets the key Congress party members to review and rehearse their speeches for Monday. Then she goes about checking the speeches that have been received by other dignitaries. There is no room for any controversy now. Each speech needs to be reviewed. That been done, Sonia takes a breather and orders for a pan pizza and retires for the day.
Sunday is a hectic day with many dignitaries reaching New Delhi. The entire day is spent in managing the logistics. Again Rahul bothers her for some trivial matter. This time, he wants his photo along with some of the dignitaries. Sonia nods him off. There are other things to manage. Last minute hotel bookings, additional cars etc.
By evening, almost all the expected guests have arrived. Bollywood and Hollywood actors, Opposition leaders, premieres of neighbouring countries, sportsmen etc.
Tomorrow will be the big day. A day that will be remembered in History. The biggest Swearing Ceremony the world has ever witnessed. Before she hit the bed, Sonia once again goes through some of the important of the list of the guests; quite proudly so.

"Thank You all for your presence here today as we get together to swear our hearts & voices out at the man responsible for the Congress debacle. Ladies and Gentlemen, join me in swearing at the one and only Manmohan Singh". At this moment, Mr. Manmohan Singh stands up, hands folded and the entire Congress party members start shouting and abusing Mr. Singh. The guests also indulge in this tirade. The grandest swearing ceremony it was!!! #@#!#$@#$!@#$%%!@#!@#!@#!!!!!
